Galaxy Grand 2, India.

Samsung releasing the Galaxy Grand 2 in India next week, no word on elsewhere.

After announcing the device in November, Samsung has given the Galaxy Grand 2 a launch date. The device will be available in India starting next week, the first week of the new year. The retail price translates over to between $370 and $400. It will be available in black, white, and pink colors. The Galaxy Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch 720p screen. Inside is a quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. If the 8GB of storage doesn’t satisfy prospective buyers, memory can be expanded due to the microSD card slot. Out of the box, the handset runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Samsung Unveil a 10.5 inch tablet.

Samsung may unveil a 10.5-inch tablet at CES next month, could it be the new Nexus 10?

According to ETNews, Samsung will be unveiling a new tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show next month. There, it is believed that a 10.5-inch tablet will make its debut. The interesting part of the report is that the unnamed tablet has not yet been identified with one of Samsung’s brands. It does not carry the Tab or Note name. This could simply be a piece of information missing or it could mean that it does belong to Google’s Nexus brand and that this would in face be the Nexus 10.
Do I think that this is the Nexus 10? Right now, I am not going to buy into that. After all, there was a botched leak that the LG V510 was the Nexus 10, but that wound up being the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition. This could mean that a new version of the 10-inch tablet is not being produced. And I really don’t think CES is the place that Google would like to unveil a new Nexus 10.

Samsung Galaxy NX features

Samsung Galaxy NX digital camera price, features, and specs review.

Samsung Galaxy NX digital camera price, features, and specs review
Samsung recently announced the Galaxy NX which is the first 3G Connected Compact System Camera which combines cutting edge optical performance with connectivity capabilities. The hand-grip of the Samsung Galaxy NX fits perfectly with a thumb rest on the rear which helps in one handed operation. Even in lowlight condition, the 20.3MP APS-C Sensor produces images which are bright and detailed. The DRIMe IV Image Signal Processor in the camera delivers speed and accuracy.

It features a 1.4 million dot resolution and a LCD screen, with its 4.7in diagonal size and 1280×720 resolutions. A physical button is also there to raise the flash and all the other functions are accessed via the touch screen. As far as the exposure settings are concerned, there is a full control over it. 1080p video capture is at 25 of 30fps and has a 1.920×810 option at 24fps. Videos recorded are very sharp, although diagonal lines have pixelated appearance.

There are many people who might be disappointed because it is not an AMOLED screen. But as compared to any other digital camera, the size and sharpness are quite appealing. True 3D Creator allows the user to shoot images and movies in 3D with Samsung’s 45mm 2D or 3D lens. Samsung Galaxy has a built in flash and runs on Android 4.2.2 JellyBean with the TouchWiz UI. It is available for $1,600 for the body-only and $1,700 for the body and an 18-55mm lens which is quite high for the potential buyers.
